She was predeceased by: her parents, Mansfield Shew and Hattie Shew; and her husband L. Colon Woods. She is also survived by her sons, grandchildren, step grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woods Family Cemetery (7974 Elk Creek Darby Rd, Ferguson, NC 28624).
