He was predeceased by: his parents, Savilla Thompson McCain and Reverend James Edwin McCain; his brother-in-law Dennis Whitt; and his nephew Reverend Marcus Whitt. He is survived by: his wife Joyce McCain; his children, Danielle Morgan of Rutherfordton and Adam McCain (Katie) of Johnson City, Tennessee; his grandchildren, MaKinley and Jackson Morgan; his sisters, Cheryl Whitt of Waverly, OH and Burnette Brown (Tom Brown) of Otway, OH; and his nieces and nephews, Rev. Mick Whitt (Bethany), Noah Whitt, Haley Whitt, Amy Lintz and Ashley Wilson.
