She was predeceased by: her parents, Bulo Silvers and Vera Minnie Henderson Silvers; her husbands, Joe Street and Maynard Tesseneer; her son Richard Street; and her siblings, Otis, Jessie Silvers, Inez Wall, Betty Hicks and Geraldine Montgomery.
She is survived by: her son Kenneth Street of Ellenboro; and her sister Freida Gillis of South Carolina. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gannt's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (618 Gantts Grove Church Rd, Mooresboro, NC 28114).
