It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miles F. Gunnin Sr. of Forest City, North Carolina, born in Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his mother Virginia Lucille Gunnin; and his siblings, Ronnie Gunnin, Mike Gunnin, Charles P. Spencer and Janice Cook.
He is survived by : his wife Margo M. Gunnin; his children, Miles Franklin "Bo" Gunnin, Jr., Robert Clayton (Melissa) and Brandi Clayton Willis (Scott); his brothers, Bobby Gunnin (Brenda) and Bruce Spencer (Cindy); his grandchildren, Brandon Brandle (Megan), Brittany Norville (Tyler), Chelsi Bartlett (Josh), Memphis Saine, Auston Wiggins, Devyn Wicks and Carley Willis; and his great grandchildren, Nate Brandle, Malayna Padgett, Aryiah Bartlett, Wyatt Blackwell and Piper Norville.
