She is survived by: her children, Maria Gates of Canton, NC, Nichol Michaels of Forest City and Jack Tilley, Jr. of North Carolina; her siblings, Richard Michaels, Pam Michaels, Barbie Michaels, Kenny Michaels, Thomas Michaels, Jr. and Karen Michaels; and her grandchildren, Brook Michaels, Jada Leatherman and Jailen Gates.
