It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Barbour of Four Oaks, North Carolina, born in Cumberland, North Carolina, who passed away on January 24, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Pershing and Mary Erma Rhodes Barbour; and his brother Don Barbour. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Thornton Barbour; his daughters, Tammy Liles (David) and Pam Creech (Avis); his grandson Braxton Creech; and his brother Danny Barbour. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
