She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Hunt and Beulah Dial Sanderson; her siblings, Essie Neal Hunt Leggett, Pernell Hunt and Redell Hunt; her stepfather Marvin Sanderson; and her siblings-in-law, Lonny Campbell and Irene Hunt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Sampson Parrish of Four Oaks, NC and Vanessa "Kaye" Sampson-DeRamus (Tom) of Efland, NC; her granddaughters, Lauren Parker (Matthew Lee) of Benson, NC and Kayla DeRamus of Efland, NC; her great grandchildren, Barrett Kendall Parker and Aubrey Grace Lee; her pets, Harper and June Parker; and her siblings, Adnell Hunt of Leland, NC, Earl Sanderson (Wilma) of Pine Tops, NC, Bobby Sanderson (Janice) of Pembroke, NC, Gregory Sanderson of Fairmont, NC, Annie Neal Campbell of Alapaha, GA and Joanne Hayes (Corky) of Lumberton, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
