It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lena Strickland of Four Oaks, North Carolina, who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Joyner and Thelma Joyner; and her brother Glenn Joyner. She is survived by: her son George Strickland, Jr.; and her siblings, Linda Faye Daughtry, Edna Jackson, V. J. Joyner, Kent Joyner and Delma Joyner. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
