She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Snead and Lillian Adams Snead of Four Oaks; her husband Bobby R. Hinton; and her sisters, Doris McDuffy and JoAnn Blaschke.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Hinton White Vickery (Vic) of Clayton, Bob Hinton (Robin) of Raleigh and Morris Hinton (Carla) of Clayton; her grandchildren, Matthew White, Adam Hinton, John Hinton, Luke Hinton, Ben Hinton and Jaydon Hinton; and her great grandchild Savannah White.
