It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Ann McLamb Hockaday (Four Oaks, North Carolina), who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Vada Ivey McLamb; her husband Howard Ervin Hockaday; and her brother William B. McLamb. She is survived by: her children, Shepard Hockaday (Beth) of Meadow and Melanie Hockaday (Sydney) of Apex; her grandchildren, Weston Hockaday (Caroline), Scott Hockaday (Jami), Kristen Phillips (Joshua), Adam Hockaday (Madison), John Jeffress (Ashley) and Justin Jeffress (Erin); her great grandchildren, Jovi Jeffress, Quinn Hockaday, Amelia Phillips, Jorah Jeffress, Jase Jeffress and Redding Hockaday; and her sisters, Carolyn Byrd (Johnny) of Four Oaks and Susie Tadlock (Charles) of Angier.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
