He is survived by: his daughters, Sara C. Wheeless (Mark) of Raleigh, NC, Audrey C. Henderson (Tom) of Otto and Susan C. Bunn (David) of Kenly, NC; his daughter-in-law Beverly R. Cabe (Jerry) of Mills River; his sister Shirley C. Hodnett (Leroy); his siblings-in-law, Jane T. Cabe (Robert), Eugene Dean (Libby) and Dale Dean; and his grandchildren, Amy Ferris Wheeless, William Wheeless, Daniel Wheeless, Thomas Henderson, Rebecca H. Cope, Noah Henderson, Molly H. Reed, Shelley C. Graham, Melissa Cabe and Allison Bunn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
