She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Holden and Martha DeHart Holden; her husband Edwin Woodrow Shope; her son Aaron Keith Shope; and her siblings, Pearl Potts, Myrtle Shepherd, Eddis Patterson, Coburn Holden, Gardner Holden and Paul Holden.
She is survived by : her children, Edwin Wade Shope (Carolyn) of Franklin, NC, Ruth Shope Dowdle (Ronnie) of Otto, NC and Lynn Shope Nicholson (Tommy) of Franklin, NC; her daughter-in-law Gail Shope of Franklin, NC; her grandchildren, Wade Shope, Jr. (Tracie), Delena Raby (Bobby), Crystal Dowdle and Kimberly Ledford (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Chelsie Raby, Hannah Smith, Macie Ledford, Sydnie Shope and Lucas Shope.
