He was predeceased by : his parents, LeRoy Ralph Volpert, Sr. and Theresa Olivio Volpert; and his niece Donna Griffin. He is survived by : his wife Pamela Low Volpert; his sisters, Eileen Elliott (Sonny) of Riverside, NJ and DeeDee Erlston of Riverside, NJ; his niece Tina Elliott; and his nephews, Stephen Elliott and Buddy Kanecki.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to Appalachian Animal Rescue, PO Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744.
