We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2020, at the age of 87, Margaret Chancey of Franklin, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, J. C. Thomas and Auther Barfield Thomas; her spouse Bennie Chancey; and her daughters, Beverly Chancey and Patricia C. Hunzeker.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Denise Fleming (Michael) and Derrick Bossick; and her great grandchildren, Kayla Wright and Kristen Wright. She is also survived by three great-great grandchildren.
