We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2019, Benjamin Smith (Franklinton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Smith and Lula Hale Smith; his siblings, Jim Smith, Louise Pernell, Ed Hale and John H. Smith; and his wife Grace Edwards Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Elaine Couch of Roxboro and Wesley Smith (Shelia); and his grandchildren, Wesley Smith, II, Stacy Smith, Dwayne Smith of Kittrell, Susan Blalock (Leon), Nancy Rouse (Frank) of Roxboro, Ricky Couch (Julie), Michael Couch (Vickie) of Durham and Keith Couch (Micki) of Roxboro. He is also survived by twenty great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers gifts can be made in Ben's memory to Perry's Chapel Baptist Church, 894 Perry's Chapel Church Road, Franklinton, NC 27525 for the sound/video system.
