He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Alexander Thompson and Nancy Mae Yarborough Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Lewis Thompson; his daughters, Cosette Grant (Wilson) and Connie Long (Fred); his granddaughters, Cheryl Grant and Lisa McCurry; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Robin and Logan.
