She was predeceased by: her husband Nelson Bennett; her daughter Janell Currin; and her grandson Dexter Cook. She is survived by: her children, Bonnie McIver, Shirley Callis, Virginia Cook, Edward Bennett and Joe Bennett. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
