He was predeceased by: his parents, William Layton Prince and Pauline Hilliard Prince; his brother Robby Prince; his brothers-in-law, Curtis Gunter and Paul Salmon; and his nephew Ricky Gunter.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda Hare Prince; his daughters, Amy Prince (Denise Rollins) of Lillington and April Blalock of Fuquay-Varina; his siblings, Barbara Gunter of Fuquay-Varina, Irma Salmon of Raleigh, Boots Ragland (Bobby) of Fuquay-Varina and Tommy W. Prince (Pearl) of Belews Creek; and his grandchildren, Catherine, Caleb, Ryan Blalock and Adam Purzitza (Ashley).
