He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton McClain and Essie Cofield McClain-Jones; and his daughter Glenda McClain. He is survived by: his children, Bobby McClain (Nicole) of Cameron, NC, Donnie McClain (Diane) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Carlton McClain of Willow Springs, NC, Gloria Garrett (Walter) of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Janet Hinton (Reginald) of Raleigh, NC; his brother Eddie Lee McLean; and his brother-in-law William Edwards. He is also survived by Fifteen grandchildren, Eighteen great-grandchildren and Three great great grandchildren.
