He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Silver and Sally Noblitt Silver; his wife Faye B. Silver; and his siblings, Kermit Silver, Helen Frye and Peggy Davis.
He is survived by: his son Lynn Silver (Marcia); his sisters, Madge Bivins, Jeanne Collier and Shirley Sierra; and his close friends, Roy and Billie Moore. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
