He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hamuel and Ona Lee Bass (White); and his spouse Oris Hawkins. He is survived by: his children, Brian Bass (Sharen) and Holly Bass; his grandchildren, Shelby Bass and David Bass; his brother William "Bill" Bass (Jean); and his sibling's children, Terry Bass (Michelle) and Greg Bass.
