It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fern Laudenslager Rainey of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, born in Camden, New Jersey, who passed away on July 29, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Laudenslager and Barbara Laudenslager (Smith); her husband Benjamin Rainey; her children, Cyndi Abernethy (Mac) of Liberty, NC, David Rainey (Becky) of Holly Springs, DE and Chip Rainey of Mebane, NC; and her sisters, Kristin Parsons (Richard) of Dover and Carol Murphy (Bill) of El Cajon, CA.. She was also cherished by niece and several nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
