He was predeceased by: his parents, Guilford J. Martin and Hazel Martin of Tabor City, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Winetta "Nette" Fipps Martin of Fuquay-Varina; and his children, Melanie "Windy" Martin Smith (Larry) of Fuquay-Varina and Ricky Dale Martin (Mary Ann) of Willow Spring. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and nine great-grand children.
