With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Illene Maryann Smith (Fuquay Varina, North Carolina), who passed away on January 31, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brothers, Cecil and Carlo; her husband Ross'; her former husband Donald Ross Smith; her parents, Virginia Booher and Carl Dechant (Pete); her stepsister Melva Geislinger; her daughter Kimberly Perkins (David); her grandsons, Ryan (Rebecca Perkins) of San Diego, CA and Connor Perkins of Charlotte, NC; her son Scott (EmmaLee Smith); and her siblings, MaryAnn Shepherd, Grace Alden and Earl Dechant.
Due to Covid precautions, there will be no public service.
