He was predeceased by: his parents, James Buchanan Rose and Lula Opaleigh Rose; and his sister Caroline Flanigan. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Gilmore Rose; his daughter Alice; his grandsons, Jimmy and Fletcher; his nephew James Flanigan; and his niece Janice Hakes. He is also survived by aunts, uncles & cousins.
