He is survived by: his sons, James "Jamie" Griffin, III (Nikki) and Brian Griffin (Lynn); and his grandchildren, Hunter Griffin, Alyssa Griffin, Austin Griffin and Carley Griffin.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Duncan Baptist Church (12024 NC 42, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27540).
