He was predeceased by: his father Furman Richardson; and his sisters, Phyllis Wilkerson and Pat Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Richardson; his children, Jimmy Richardson Jr. (Mandy) and Jill Merritt (Scott); his grandchildren, Katelyn, Gracie, Lily, Jackson and Karlee; his mother Maebell Richardson; and his brothers, Dale Richardson (Robin) and Ed Richardson (Shirley).
Even at the very end of his life, helping others filled his thoughts; and at his request the family ask that in lieu of flowers or cards, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
