With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margie A. Smith (Fuquay Varina, North Carolina), who passed away on March 4, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margie Lamberth (Deceased) and Glenn Hinton (Deceased); her siblings, Willie Lamberth and Ella Mae Callender; and her daughters, Shirlita Jones (late Dennis Jones) and Benita Smith (Fidel Reyes).
She is survived by: her husband James Chester Smith of Holly Springs, NC; her daughter Kicher Harris (Donnell Harris) of Cary, NC; her grandchildren, Jasmine Holston (Ernest Holston) of Garner, NC, Brittany Jones of Raleigh, NC, Courtney Harris of Cary, NC, Amanda Jones of Raleigh, NC, Shamar Jones of Raleigh, NC, Kendra Harris of Cary, NC and Kyla Harris of Cary, NC.; her great grandchild Karter James Whiteside of Cary, NC.; and her siblings, Leonard Lamberth, Glenn Hinton, Roger Hinton, Along, Linda Emory, Marie Atkinson, Shanetta Morgan (Steve Morgan), Sharon Mangum, Debra Kay Davis and Joyce Hinton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to Covid-19, the family has chosen to not hold a public service at this time. The family ask that all visitors wear a MASK to visitation services at this time.
