It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon M. Shannon of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll McClellan and Vivian McClellan. She is survived by: her husband Jack Shannon; her siblings, McClellan, III (Carolyn) and Joyce Gurley; her children, Tasha Wright and Todd Lynn (Diane); and her stepchildren, Ken Potter (Jayme) and Tonya Shannon. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
