He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harold, Frances Golden, Stanley and Carolyn Butterworth. He is survived by: his parents, Steven Richard Golden and Karen Lynn Giddings (Oliver); his sister Krysta Sjogren (John); his nephew Jason Golden; his niece Anna-Sophia Sjogren; and his pet Brandy.

In honor of his love of animals, memorial contributions can be donated to Wake County Animal Shelter.
