With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Owen Robert O'Connor Jr. (Clayton, North Carolina), born in Portsmouth, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2024 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by : his daughter Alicia. He is survived by : his children, Lesley (Todd), Kenny, Jeramie and Nycki (Needham); his grandchildren, Carolyn, Chloe, David, Paul, Bailie, Sabine, Gunnar, Kiersten, Sofyan, Brantley and Gavin; and his sisters, Susan (Bob) and Therese. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 at 4:00 PM at 4605 Bushy Branch Dr, Garner, NC 27529.
