She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalton Mauney and Myrtle Dora Turner Mauney; her husband Bobby Kenneth Wright, Sr.; her son Bobby Kenneth Wright, Jr. (Kelley) of Bessemer City; her granddaughter Sarah Estelle Wright Sams (Andrew) of Charlotte, NC; and her great grandchildren, Addison and Areum of Charlotte, NC.
