He is survived by: his siblings, Melvine Parton, Michael Huffstetler and Betty Husky; and his daughters, Teresa Hall, Melinda Avery and Wanda Bryant. He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Greene Funeral Service South Chapel (1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052). A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Arrowood Baptist Church Cemetery (6417 Dallas Cherryville Hwy, Bessemer City, NC 28016).
