She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Ray Aldridge and Ina Pearl Renau Aldridge; her husband Thomas Lucious Holbrooks; her sons, Randy Dean Holbrooks and Mark Steven Holbrooks; and her sisters, Imagene Hodges and Maxine Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Holbrooks Jr. (Teresa), Gary Holbrooks (Sarah), David Holbrooks and Susan Holbrooks Howard; and her grandchildren, Thomas Holbrooks III, Scott Holbrooks (Angel), Angie Holbrooks, Jason Holbrooks (Kelly), Matthew Holbrooks (Megan), Kevin Holbrooks (Katie), Nikki Casey, Lacey Moses (Ben), Lauren Girley (Eric), Cody McGill, Josh Holbrooks (Jennifer) and Molly Grant (Travis). She is also survived by thirty-two great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Love Memorial Baptist Church (311 E Walnut Ave, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
