It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Candy Quick (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jay Roberts and Helen Clippard Roberts; her daughter Danna Poteat; and her siblings, William "Billy" Roberts, Linda Moore, Jane Penner and Millie Crib.
She is survived by : her husband Clay Quick; her children, Chris, Casey Poteat and Lacie Harris (Josh); her sister Judy James; and her grandchildren, Jaxen Harris, Skylar, Logan, Nathan and Jacob Poteat.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 12th 2021 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Services - South Chapel (1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 12th 2021 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
