She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth Nelson Knight and Ellen Claire Smith Knight; her former life partner Ronald Holland; and her siblings, Ellen Knight Thompson, Bill, Benny Knight, Francis Knight and Bobby Knight.
She is survived by : her husband Ben Johnson; her children, Ken Holland (Cynthia) of Holden Beach and Catharine M. Holland of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her grandchildren, Adam C. Holland (Melissa), Kendall H. Withers (Moss) and Jennifer H. Peede (Brian); her sister Ann Knight McGee of Aiken, SC; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Knight, Patricia Knight and Mary McCarey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
