It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Simpson (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on July 20, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Simpson, Sr. and Martha Nichols Simpson; and his brothers, Donald Simpson and James Simpson, Jr.. He is survived by : his siblings, Issac Simpson (Betty) of Shelby, N. C., Reverend Thomas "Tommy" E. Simpson (Cynthia) of Kings Mountain, N. C. and Kay Hudson of Gastonia, N. C.; and his cousin Velora W. Cook of Gastonia, N. C.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
