He was predeceased by: his parents, Reid Hyde and Dorothy Hyde; his daughter Melissa Dawn Hyde; his brother Ronnie Hyde; and his father-in-law Bill Costner.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Costner Hyde; his son Brent Hyde; his sister Karen Felton; his siblings-in-law, Barry Costner and Teresa Costner; his granddaughter Baleigh Robinson; his mother-in-law Frances Coster; and his niece Joy Lee.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home (2916 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
