He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Robinson and Rebecca Robinson; his wife Frankie M. Lowe; his siblings, Emma Williams Bonner, Lula Robinson Johnson, Eddie Robinson Jr., Gracie Robinson Wheeler, Andrew Robinson and Roosevelt Robinson; and his children, Clarence Carter, Cynthia Marcela, Jimmy Jr. and Jonathan. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Gaston Memorial Park (2205 Williamsburg Dr, Gastonia, NC 28054). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
