She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward Mosley and Joyce Mae Walters Mosley. She is survived by: her husband Sammy Ray Gathings; her sister-in-law Abbla Gathings; and also, Jeffrey and James E. Mosley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation (2916 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at the Calendar Gaston Memorial Park (1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
