She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter George Lineberger and Mildred Reynolds Lineberger; her husband Andrew James "AJ" Turnipseed; and her siblings, Gentry, Harold, Lewis, Joe Lineberger, Evelyn Thompson and Mary Alice Roberts.

She is survived by : her children, Steve Turnipseed (Lynn) of Belmont, NC, Scott Turnipseed (Joy) of Marietta, GA and Cindy Bess (Steve) of Gastonia, NC; her sister Janet Rednour (Pete); her grandchildren, Jason Turnipseed (Kyle), Jordan Turnipseed (Matt), Alisha Duston (John), Morgan Kennedy (Matthew) and Mackenzie Bess (Austin Eskew); and her great grandchild Hannah Duston. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
