It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Louise Adams (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on July 2, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Armstrong and Dorothy M. Floyd Byers; her siblings, Elizabeth Byers, MaryHelen Bolden, Brenda Byers, Charles Byers, James Lawrence and Phillip Byers Sr.; and her niece Susie Byers.

She is survived by : her sons, James Michael Adams, Jr. of Gastonia and Tavoris Adams (Samantha) of Rock Hill; and her sisters-in-law, Wilma Floyd of Gastonia and Glenda Fewell of Conover. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
