He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Andre'Ivester and Carolyn Cunningham Ivester; his brother Sonny Ivester; and his grandmother Geneva Hall. He is survived by: his wife Linda Franks Ivester; his children, Stephanie Barnes (Danny), Allison Watts (David) and Greg Ivester (Victoria); his grandchildren, Jaycee, Jordan, Weston, Emerson and Hendrix; and his siblings, Dean Ivester (Tammy), Kat Sturgill (John) and Jeanne Sigmon (Rickey). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (375 Woodlawn Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
