She was predeceased by: her father Robert Frank Walkowiak; and her brothers, Robert "Bobby" Frank Walkowiak, II and James "Jimmer" Bentley Walkowiak. She is survived by: her mother Marcella Casper Walkowiak; and her brothers, Tommy Walkowiak (Phyllis) of Clover, SC, Johnny Walkowiak (Kelly) of Gastonia, Billy Walkowiak (Brandy) of Gastonia and Joe Walkowiak of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and grand nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia Founders Chapel (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Robert F. Walkowiak YMCA Memorial Fund, C/O Community Foundation of Gaston County, PO Box 123, Gastonia, NC 28053.
