She was predeceased by: her parents, Morgan Hamilton Morrow and Inez Luticia Murphy Morrow; her husband James Edward Martin, Sr.; her daughter Sherry Kay Martin; her granddaughter Heather Daniels; and her siblings, William Tim Morrow, Wade Morrow, Ben Morrow, George Morrow, Georgia May Eller, Mary Hamby, Effie Ledford and Myrtle Picklesimer.
She is survived by: her children, James Edward "Eddie" Martin, Jr. (Teresa) of Newton, NC, Kevin Martin (Lyne) of Lincolnton, NC and Christy Proulx of Belmont, NC; her grandchildren, Tonya Hammon (Jeff), Nicki Hibberts (Jay), Shannon Truesdale, Jennifer Wilson (Marc), James Kevin Martin, Brandon Martin (Natalie), Justin Cooke, David Proulx, John Proulx, Jacob Randolph (Morgan) and Delilah Gilliean (Daniel); and her caregiver Loretta Greene. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Belmont (515 N Central Ave, Belmont, NC 28012). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors - Bumgardner Chapel (515 N Central Ave, Belmont, NC 28012).
