With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nettie Jean Taylor Salisbury of Gates, North Carolina, born in Clay, West Virginia, who passed away on November 26, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Taylor and Vida Johnson Taylor; her husband Albert Salisbury; and her siblings, Ora Hamrick, Genevieve Selbe, Hester McKinney, Hettie Jarvis, Ruth Barnett, Alice Adkins, Dennis and Kenneth Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Reba Midgett (Jeff) of Virginia Beach, Rhonda Drennan (Pete) of Virginia Beach, Lynn Marie Hickey (Bryan) of Gates, Terry Salisbury (Patty) of Virginia Beach and Stanley Salisbury (Theresa) of Gates; her sister Helen Atkinson of Warren, OH; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Midgett (Erica), Kelly Ann Northcott (Marty), Kathryn Gullo Dawn (Brian), Curtis Salisbury (Lori), Kirby Drennan (Autumn), Richard Rison, Jr. and Benjamin Rison. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to any chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
