Roger Shingleton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2021, at the age of 73, Roger Shingleton (Gates, North Carolina), born in Salem, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Whittington Shingleton, Sr. and Lucille Francisco Shingleton; and his brothers, Wayne Jr. and James Shingleton. He is survived by: his wife Doris Harrell Shingleton; his children, Melissa S. Walters (Dave) of Zuni, VA and Roger Lee Shingleton of Roduco; his sisters, Janet Young of Statesville, Jane Ambrose of Gates, Connie Norton of Cocoa Beach, FL and Bonnie Eason of Sunbury; his grandchildren, Morrel Shingleton, Quinton, Preston and Kayton Walters; and his great grandchild Gunner Shingleton.
With restrictions associated with the Covid-19 Pandemic, no formal visitation is being held, however friends may visit with the family at the home. Masks and social distancing measures are encouraged.
