It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Case Powell (Gatesville, North Carolina), who passed away on April 27, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Benjamin Franklin Case and Louise Walton Harrell Case; her husband Curtis Vance Powell, Sr.; and her sister Ann Case Boyette Abernathy. She is survived by : her children, Margaret Powell Ivey of Corapeake, Linda Powell Morgan (Skip) of Manteo, Faye Powell Currin (Tony) of Raleigh, Curtis Vance Powell, Jr. (Cathy) of Garner and Ronald Wayne Powell (Deborah) of Corapeake; and her siblings, Hilda Case Hobbs of Richmond, VA and Benjamin F. Case, Jr. of Suffolk, VA..
