It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Haywood Eure Sr. (Gatesville, North Carolina), born in Gates, North Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his siblings, Penistene Howell, Timothy, Parish, Felton and Delton Eure.

He is survived by : his wife Rebecca Dail Eure; his children, Lydia Eure Barker (Gerry Riddick), Melinda Dale Eure and Luther H. "Luke" Eure, Jr. (Jeanette) of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Michael Barker (Morgan), Rachel Koupal (Matthew), Ashley Miller (Justin), Jared Johnson, Hannah Queenan (Kyle), Alexa Stroup (David) and Ainsley Eure (Collin); and his great grandchildren, Denali, Kelty Barker, Cooper Koupal, Lillie Johnson and Miller.

Due to the restrictions associated with the Covid-19 Pandemic, no formal visitation is being held. Masks are required and social distancing measures will be in place for those attending the service.
