Susan Stinson Powell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Stinson Powell (Gatesville, North Carolina), born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on March 5, 2021 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Malcom Stinson and Louise Bush Stinson; and her son-in-law Kevin Lassiter. She is survived by : her husband Randy Alan Powell; her daughters, Jennifer Lassiter and Sonja Abshire (David); her siblings, Michael, Mark, Diane, Judy and Leela; and her grandchildren, Austin, Katie, Kila, Brett and Blake. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, no formal visitation will be held, however friends may visit with the family at the church immediately following the service on Thursday. Masks and social distancing measures are encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holly Springs Baptist Church, PO Box 61, Cofield, NC 27986.
